Welcome to the New Beginnings Home Page. My name is Penny Gilmer and I am the Personalized Learning Community Coach for Park View High School. I have enjoyed being a part of Mecklenburg County Public Schools since 2001. I have taught business classes at Bluestone High School; worked as the Career and Technical Coordinator at Central Office; and was assistant principal at Bluestone High and Park View Middle. I have also taught at Park View High, Park View Middle and Bluestone Middle. Before moving to Mecklenburg County in 1999, I taught at a vocational school in Fishersville, Virginia. I was also a school secretary for eight years. I've taught students pre-school through adults. My administration degree came from Longwood University; my bachelors: James Madison University.
